Second chakra healing

EXHALE

I had to take a moment + go dance in the rainstorm that just passed through Detroit.

Then I came in and put on a Spotify playlist + decided to paint.

Just playing with colors. No agenda. No plan. Just spontaneous creation.

Omg it feels good.

The windows are open, the cooler breeze blows in + I feel so refreshed.

This trip out here has been so healing. So necessary.

Not always easy... there have been so many crazy life changing moments too... which are just blowing my mind right now. This mercury retrograde has definitely shifted things for me.

I’ve noticed that my desires have changed. My tastes. My “must haves“ in order for me to be happy are radically different now.

Like holy fuck. How did I think I knew what I wanted before? I have changed so much in the past year that my previous life seems almost like a distant dream. I drive past my old neighborhood + it is such a trip. I think: how has it been only 10 months since I moved to LA?

This is my fave time to be in Michigan so I feel really blessed to get to stay for so long. I just need few more weeks here in the city then one more week up north on a lake to fully recover... then I plan to head back out west.

This year has held some of the biggest lessons for me yet, some of it was REALLY hard... but omg... so many of my big life dreams have come true as well.

I’m excited for the rest of 2020 even though I am currently only planning my next three weeks out at this point to negate any anxiety that could crop up due to the fact that THERE IS NO WAY TO PLAN ANYTHING THESE DAYS. I can only intend + then take action towards manifesting things into reality. Always flowing, never pushing. That’s where I’ve found the ease + energy to exist in this powerful time lately.
