It’s weird to be here without you

I see you in the kids and in your family

I was thinking about that month we spent living at that secluded little beach we discovered in Northern California + we were listening to a lot of melancholy music and fasting and talking about The Celestine prophesy. I read it to you and you loved it. We were currently reading mutant message from down under I think. So many good books. I could read out loud for hours back then!

I’ll never forget how you told me I taught you how to read haha

You taught me how to care for plants even tho honestly you just had magic inside you and plants understood that 💛⚡️✨

We did so much in the time we spent together. I never met anyone so down to be spontaneous and live life in such a deeply trusting way before. We both held space for each other to step up to grow very quickly. We had so much fun!

man we got along good living in the woods or faced with survival we were the best team. But in the end we both needed to grow in a way the the other didn’t find valuable at the time, sadly. It happens.

But anyways. I ramble. I miss you dude
