Authenticity

Standing up + using your voice is very empowering. Not just for you, but for all the people around you who can’t stand up + speak their truth

When we stand up + speak our truth we hold space for others to do the same

We create safety for others to be their true selves

When I came out as non binary earlier this year, I got so many messages from people that told me that me stating my truth allowed them to do the same.

That my confidence somehow seeped into them.

That me standing up + being my whole authentic self encouraged them to step up into the next highest version of themselves so that they could claim their truth + own it.

That made me happy + also got me thinking about how I present myself in the world. How I show up. How I lead by example.

I’m pretty unique + I express that authentically af

But I used to have hesitation when it came to my clothes cuz I thought I looked silly sometimes. I worried that if I dressed a certain way people would not accept me. Or that they’d judge me. Which is weird cuz I honestly don’t have time to notice what people think usually. But I always felt like I couldn’t pull off super femme looks... like I was trying too hard.

Coming out as non binary kinda freed me in some ways but also amplified the feeling that I looked weird if I tried to wear super femme clothes.

My experience at the integratron somehow healed that.

I dress however I want these days. I wear men’s sized clothes, women’s clothes, even kids clothes {haha they fit me + I can’t resist boys stretch cotton pants}

I wear board shorts, yoga pants, robes, jumpers, whatever feels like it expresses my mood that day.

Cuz clothes are genderless. Duh.

Colors are genderless.

Hair is genderless.

I can wear whatever I desire.

I enjoy expressing myself with clothing.

Being non binary is just me allowing myself to express who I am honestly in each moment.

We all have parts of ourselves that feel vulnerable.

We all have pieces of ourselves that we feel uncomfortable with.

Learning to love them + celebrate our uniqueness is what allows us to truly shine + live as an example for others to do the same.

So be you babe. We need you. 💜
