Overwhelm. It can create a stress response in our body that forces us into survival mode to take a break to recover. It’s a gift if you can use it to remind yourself to take action quickly to regulate your nervous system + get back to thriving.
Here’s my fave way to recover from overwhelm: breathwork.
I use this simple breathing technique to calm my overwhelm/anxiety/worry/stress quickly.
